Luke Hopkins
I joined Anderson Barrowcliff in April 2016 as our Outsourcing Department Manager, responsible for providing outsourced financial reporting services, such as monthly management accounts and bookkeeping support, to new and existing clients.
In the last few years, my role has pivoted into Corporate Finance, which mainly involves transactional work on business acquisitions and disposals but covers a wide variety of specialist services such as fundraising and forecasting. I was appointed Partner in April 2026.
Prior to joining the firm, I gained seven years’ experience as an Accountant in the construction industry, where I worked as Company Accountant for two different SMEs. I am an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, having completed my professional exams in 2014, and also have a Business Management degree from Durham University.
I have a 6-year-old son called Henry. My spare time revolves around him, and I wouldn’t have it any other way… playing or watching football, building Lego and watching movies are our usual pastimes! I enjoy keeping fit and watching plenty of sport… I am a Manchester United season ticket holder and unfortunately for him, Henry has inherited the love/obsession with MUFC! The line “If I hadn’t seen such riches, I could live with being poor” from the song ‘Sit Down’ by James resonates perfectly with being a Manchester United fan at the minute!
