Helen Wilson

I joined the firm as trainee in 2004 after receiving a first-class degree in Mathematics at Durham University. During my training contract I worked in various departments including Business Services, Audit and Tax. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and from that point worked predominantly within the Audit department.

I was promoted to partner in 2016 and I now act for a wide variety of clients in sectors such as manufacturing, engineering and construction; meeting clients and helping them prosper is the most enjoyable part of my job.

I have three children Harry, Oliver and Isabelle and am married to Adam. Taking the children to their activities takes up most of my free time - football, cross-fit, athletics, cricket and swimming, I’m exhausted just writing them! However, you will often find me out running on a lunchtime around Preston Park. I danced for 18 years of my life, travelling around the UK competing in every school holiday and am a fully qualified dance teacher in stage/modern and tap dancing. I love going to London to watch West End shows; Chicago and Phantom of the Opera are my favourites.
