Julie Lester

I started working at J H Anderson & Co in 1978 and have been with the firm throughout its various transitions, becoming Anderson Barrowcliff.

I have a very busy job in a hectic but professional department and one of the best things has been all the lifelong friends I’ve made over the years.

Away from work I love spending time with my family and friends. I Love music and going to gigs and DJing – seeing loads and loads of live acts over the years - far too many to mention, but David Bowie, U2, The Killers, The Rolling Stones, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, The Cult, Wham, Madonna, Rod Stewart, Take That and AC/DC spring to mind.

I love watching tennis and football and have seen some of the greats play live in both sports.

I love cooking for friends and family and hosting parties and dinners. I also love travelling and have been to lots of places over the years with still lots more to see!

I’m a bit of a film buff, an avid reader and I enjoy debating politics and studying history.
