Gemma Lowes

I left Uni in 2015 where I spent 3 years playing CSI before doing a short stint with HMRC. I fell into my first accountancy role in 2016 in a small firm in the North East before moving on to another firm to broaden my experience. I have previous experience within Personal Tax, Corporation Tax and Payroll and joined Anderson Barrowcliff in May 2023 to focus predominantly on Personal Tax. My role generally involves the preparation and submission of personal Tax Returns. I enjoy getting to know people and working with a wide range of clients.

Outside of work you can find me in the gym, knocking out the punches or running. I find music is a great motivator and if I’m not working out with my headphones in I’ll be having a private dance party in the kitchen! I also enjoy long walks with my Son and Labrador anywhere with nice views and a good stretch of water for the dog!

I also make a mean white chocolate cheesecake!
