Luke Hopkins
I joined Anderson Barrowcliff in April 2016 as our Outsourcing Department Manager, responsible for providing outsourced financial reporting services, such as monthly management accounts and bookkeeping support, to new and existing clients.
My role has recently pivoted into Corporate Finance, which mainly involves transactional work on business acquisitions and disposals but covers a wide variety of specialist services such as fund raising and forecasting.
Prior to joining the firm, I gained seven years’ experience as an Accountant in the construction industry, where I worked as Company Accountant for two different SMEs. I am an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, having completed my professional exams in 2014, and also have a Business Management degree from Durham University.
I have a 4-year-old son called Henry (I wanted to name him Luke!). My wife and I spend a lot of time at weekends in the local park, soft play and generally keeping him entertained!
My spare time is spent keeping fit and watching plenty of sport… I am a Manchester United season ticket holder.
The line “If I hadn’t seen such riches, I could live with being poor” from the song ‘Sit Down’ by James resonates perfectly with being a Manchester United fan at the minute!
