Sarah Fairley

I work within the Administration Department and I joined Anderson Barrowcliff back in 2013 after completing my Level 2 and Level 3 in Business Administration with Middlesbrough College. During my time here I have learnt and developed a lot more new skills and also brought some of my knowledge and experience to the firm.

I particularly enjoy working and communicating with clients during our onboarding process. This includes engaging them as a client to the firm, getting authority for them to enable us to act on their behalf with HMRC and following our Money Laundering procedures. I like to get involved in the marketing of the firm, which includes planning, organising and attending events and I also have the huge task of managing our storage facility which is a big responsibility, but gives me a sense of achievement.

In my spare time I enjoy taking my nephews and niece out on days out, swimming on a morning (when and if I can get up in time for it!), going for a walk or run (though I hate running!) or participating in a few exercise classes and spending time with my family and friends.

I also love to go and see musicals and attend music concerts. A few I have seen that have been my favourites are Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Phantom of the Opera, Lés Miserables, Billy Elliott, Rock of Ages, Rocky Horror Picture Show (My Favourite of them all), Olly Murs, Busted, McFly, McBusted (I am still a kid at heart and in my head!), Jess Glynn, The Wanted, Steps and Kasabian.

One of my favourite quotes comes from the famous English playwright William Shakespeare... “Be not afraid of greatness, some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.”
