Lewis Johnson

I started working for Anderson Barrowcliff straight from college when I was 18-years-old, when I decided I liked the idea of working and earning instead of going to university to rack up a huge amount of debt!

I started in the accounts department and made the switch to payroll after my first year and haven’t looked back since. I’ve grown from knowing nothing about the field to operating my own portfolio of around 150 clients, enjoying the responsibility that comes with managing my own clients and the quirky problem solving that comes with it.

When I’m not crunching numbers in the office I love playing hockey for my local club and helping with the running of it. I also try my best to kick a football in the direction that I intend to, but my ambitions unfortunately outweigh my abilities! For more relaxed downtime I enjoy building computers and then using them to play games on. I don’t get quite as much time for that anymore as my wife and I recently had our first child, but it is worth the sacrifice as the best thing is to play with my son and watch him grow.
