Small Accountancy Firm of the Year
Anderson Barrowcliff LLP is delighted to announce that it have been awarded the coveted ‘Small Accountancy Firm of the Year’ award at the 2015 North East Accountancy Award Ceremony, which was held at the Hilton Hotel, Newcastle, in June 2015.
The award was open to accountancy firms across the North East of England with up to 50 employees. With 49 employees, Anderson Barrowcliff LLP is still one of the largest independent firms in the Tees Valley. The judges commented that, despite the word ‘Small’ in the awards title, the range of services offered by the firm was comparable to the largest of North East firms. In particular, the judges highlighted some of the added value services Anderson Barrowcliff LLP had provided to their clients over the past 12 months. These included forensic accountancy services, major corporate finance deals and the success in obtaining significant levels of grant funding for their clients.
The awards ceremony is in its 6th year and attracts over 400 people to its annual awards dinner. A range of public sector, large commercial and private practice entities go head to head to win one of 10 awards. The firm is also delighted to have had two of its employees, Jeanette Muir and Matthew McGee, on the final shortlist for the ‘Accounting Technician of the Year’ award.
Anderson Barrowcliff LLP’s newest partner, Andrew Dewing, commented “It is a great honour to have our efforts recognised at such a prestigious awards ceremony. The approach of the firm is to always go the extra mile for our clients and to offer a full range of accountancy services under one roof”.
